Today's polish is another from Rescue Beauty Lounge-- Sheer Nude. This is another shade that has been on the site for quite awhile and is currently sold out. I picked this up on a whim, because I am going through a serious phase of loving neutrals and I wanted to get this before it was gone.
Ji describes this polish as "like an ultra sheer stocking, this polish makes your fingers look sleek, glossy, and very very expensive. Just the color to wear when interviewing for your boss's job."
Sheer Nude isn't sheer, and is opaque in two coats. I used
three here because there was a little bit of patchiness and dragging
and three coats evened it out pretty nicely well.

You really lose the shimmer in the shade-- it was impossible to photograph.

Ahh, shimmer, there you are! Love how subtle it is-- just enough to elevate this polish above a boring nude creme.
Sheer Nude is a perfect nude polish-- I'm in love! The comparison to a sheer stocking is so apt-- Sheer Nude is a beige polish with pink undertones... or is that a pink polish with beige tones? I honestly can't decide. Either way, it's close to being flesh/band-aid for me and the subtle shimmer that runs through the polish definitely makes it like a nude sheer stocking-- gives your legs (and in this case nails) a subtle shimmer to make them look fabulous.
As with other sold-out RBL polishes, theoretically you will be able to vote for this polish in a Bring It Back vote, if there is another one.
