Ok, this is so unusual for me-- but I'm taking a quick break from my Julep polishes and bringing you some GLITTER!! I love my creme polishes, but I'm feeling a little bored so I wanted to switch it up a little. Tonight I have one of Lacquistry's fall polishes, Spiced Candy Apple Cider. Lacquistry sold her six fall polishes in two trios and this was part of the Fall Y'all trio!
There's a lot going on in Spiced Candy Apple Cider-- it's red based glitter polish with fine red glitter along with larger red hex glitter and smaller gold hex glitter as well. This is Lacquistry's description: "combines all the goodness of fresh picked red apples mulled with cinnamon, nutmeg and mulling spices with the sweet
goodness of a shiny candy apple. Look closely between the sparkling micas and you will see bits of 'spices' sprinkled in. Perhaps there might even be a touch of caramel… Spiced Candy Apple Cider is mainly smaller micas and fine glitters accented with a handful of mini-hex as the largest glitter present."
Here I layered two coats of Spiced Candy Apple Cider over Julep Delaunay (you'll be seeing this one shortly). My only complaint about this polish is that it's super thick. Super, super thick. It was a little difficult to apply, but I managed it with a cross between regular application and dabbing it around my nail.

This is very appropriate for fall! I love how sparkly and autumnal it is. I like to try it over a few other base colors as well-- I think this could look pretty over a brown or even a camel color.
