Zoya Gemma

Next polish in the Intimate Collection: Zoya Gemma! Gemma is a "light muted olive green with an overlay of blue and violet duochrome shimmer. Unique, hip and cutting-edge yet subtle enough to suit any wardrobe." Again, even though Gemma was released in the spring, olive/military green is extremely big for fall and there are many collections that have a shade of olive green in them: China Glaze Westside Warrior, OPI Uh Oh, Roll Down the Window, Zoya Dree and Yara. The list goes on and on. What sets Gemma apart, though is the shimmer-- rescues this from being a boring olive green to giving a lot of edge and making it into a really unique polish.

Gemma covered pretty well-- I used two coats here. Maybe three would have been better, but I didn't spot any glaring areas of patchiness or bald spots.

Gemma is a really unique, cool polish. Not a color I would immediately gravitate to, but I really like it.
