This is another Halloween polish, although it was released last year by Sephora. It's been kicking around in my one of my polish drawers since I found it on sale sometime last spring, but since I was swatching some other Halloween polishes, I decided it was time to break it out. Kitty Loves Black is a charcoal grey polish with some blue shimmer in it. In the bottle this looks really black-- I'm glad you can see the grey base here. The formula on this polish was ok, but a little on the sheer side. I needed three coats to get opaque coverage.

I'm not totally in love with this polish. It's kind of cool because it's a bit unusual, but it doesn't really scream Halloween. Which is ok, actually, but I'm just not totally enamored of it. I can't quite put my finger on why, but it just doesn't grab me.
I don't really see it as a Halloween color. The shimmer seems blue and green. If there was a orange shimmer peaking through, I would call it Halloween.
