Julep Hailee

I could have finished reviewing my Maven box in November, but I was busy Thursday and Friday nights and didn't have posts prepared. Sorry about that-- I'm really terrible about planning ahead. Tonight's polish is Julep Hailee, which Julep describes as a "khaki green suede." I initially thought there was some silver in this polish, but it's actually more gold when I look at it closely.

Hailee had the same formula as Amber and Minka-- slightly thick, but fairly easy to use. Very nicely pigmented and it dries down quickly. I have used two coats here (and no top coat). This was probably one of my favorite colors from the suede collections-- this just feels like fall to me.

One thing I have noticed with these polishes is that because they dry so quickly, they are also prone to getting very gunky in the neck of the bottle. I hate that! Anyone have tips for how to avoid that? I guess I just need to avoid wiping my brush off on the neck of the bottle!
