Happy 4th of July!

Hope everyone out there is having a happy and safe 4th of July (and to any Canadians out there, I hope you had a happy Canada Day)! The sun is actually out in Seattle today, which is unusual at this time for year, sadly! Since the holiday falls on a Wednesday and we only have one day off, we're having a pretty chill day around the house and BBQing tonight.

I felt pretty inspired about this manicure, because I had some perfect glitter polishes to use: Nostalgic Lacquer Pride and Julep America the Beautiful. Generally I'm not huge fan of glitters (yeah, I said it, it's true) but these are so perfect for the 4th of July and it would have been silly not to use them! Here I have layered Pride over OPI No Room For The Blues (one of my favorite blue polishes ever) on my thumb through middle finger and America the Beautiful over Cult Nails Evil Queen on my ring and pinky fingers.

I'll have reviews of all of these later, promise!

Have a great day everyone!

    1. Well, I should clarify. I do like glitter! And I really love looking at other people's glitter manicures! And I love how they look in the bottles. I always feel like they look so weird on me-- as in, I put it on my nails and think I'm looking at a 12 year old. Plus the removal suuuuuuucks. =)

That said, I really love how this turned out. America is an amazing glitter-- I'm really impressed by it. Julep did a great job there!
