It's Friday, so it's definitely a Happy Ending, the last polish from the Cult Nails Fairy Tale Collection. This is final polish in the collection, and pretty appropriate (at least I think so)! Happy Ending is a multicolor glitter polish with a clear base, but this isn't ordinary glitter-- it's shredded glitter! I think this is a new glitter trend making the rounds (or reemerging again, I don't know) and rather than square, round or hex glitter, shredded glitter is a bunch of irregular sized pieces. What I think is really cool about Happy Ending in particular is than even though it's a multicolor glitter, it's a more toned down, pastel multicolor instead of being your bright, run-of-the-mill rainbow glitter. Not of course, that there's anything wrong with those, but the more muted colors of this glitter definitely set it apart from its sisters.
Unfortunately, I have to report that Happy Ending was kind of a pain in the butt to apply if you're looking for something quick and easy. You can't just swipe this polish on the nail because you end up wiping it all off. You have to use what I refer to as the "dab and jab" method of applying glitters-- you blob a bunch on your nail and carefully move it into place with the brush. Really, it's not too difficult to apply if you're expecting it-- which I was not! But once I figured it out, it was fine.
In my pictures I have used two coats of Happy Ending over Feelin' Froggy, with one coat of Essie Good to Go topcoat over that. Happy Ending is meant to be a glitter top coat, and not something you wear on its own (though it probably look awesome over a nude polish).

And that brings us to the end of the Fairy Tale Collection! I will post a round-up later but I hope you enjoyed it!
